SWEET POTATO PIE IN THE NEWS?

Sweet Potato Pie makes the finals of the SPBGMA band competition
held in Nashville, Tennessee.

Pie Girls rocked it out at the Ernest Tubb Record Shop in Nashville during
their XM Broadcast with the Larry Stephenson Band in early February.

Sweet Potato Pie set to release first gospel CD by March 30th.
This 15 track album includes 9 original songs from the girls along
with some of their favorites. Sweet Potato Pie set to record their
gospel album at Mountain Fever Studios in January.

The Pie is tapped to play at the Earnest Tubb Record Store in
February for a live world wide broadcast on XM Radio.

WUNC Radio selects "Clinch Mountain Backstep" as one of
the best instrumental songs of 2009. This song will be
part of WUNC's annual compilation album.

Sweet Potato Pie receives solid music reviews highlighting the
groups vocals and songwriting from Bluegrass Unlimited
and BMI magazines in July/August.
